Welcome to our first blog feature! We love the idea of keeping you up to date on Big Bull Self Storage as it feels like we are growing and progressing quite quickly.

Big Bull Self Storage are based in Highbridge, on the Isleport Business Park, in Somerset providing self-storage units to the local area, including Burnham on Sea, Huntspill, Wedmore, Mark, Brent Knoll, Berrow, Brean, Axbridge, Bridgwater, Puriton and Weston Super Mare. As we are a brand new site, with brand new container units, you can expect a very clean and tidy experience here. The units are air tight shipping containers, modified for self storage with 14 extra ventilation points to ensure air circulation to prevent condensation and damp. We don't just use standard shipping containers, we have them modified to make them much better for self storage purposes. Standard shipping containers don't have enough ventilation, but we add extra vent to ours to ensure air flow. The containers are also fitted with modified flooring meaning they can be wiped clean and are better for easy stacking. The units are sat on foundations raising them off the ground, to yet again ensure the air flow, prevent sinkage and provide the best self storage possible. The site is secure, with 8ft high anti-climb fencing, an automated gate with PIN Code access and 24 hour monitored CCTV across the whole site, we don’t just monitor the gate. We will provide you with a secure tamper proof padlock that will sit up inside the lock box, so these cannot be cut off with bolt cutters - we don’t charge any extra for the use of these locks. We want you to know that the safety of your self storage unit is paramount to us, so by giving you the best possible padlock, we know that we've covered everything, and you can be rest assured that your belongings are safe with us at Big Bull Self Storage. And since we offer 24-hour access, we thought it only best that we should be fully illuminated, so you can feel free to come to your unit at 3am should you wish to do so, knowing that you’ll have full visibility while on site. We have a variety of unit sizes available, from the full unit which is 160sqft ranging down to many smaller units to suit your individual self storage needs. We also have an upper tier which is a much cheaper option ideal for long term storage where you may not need the access of the ground floor.

Where can you find us? We are based on Isleport Business Park, in Highbridge, (Near Burnham on Sea) in Somerset, close to Junction 22 of the M5 Motorway Junction, between Bridgwater and Weston super Mare. We are the closest Self Storage site to the Motorway junction so ideal if you're local to the area or even a bit further down the M5. If you’re coming from the motorway, take the first left towards Highbridge and left again at the mini round about. Then you’ll drive past Costa on your left, and we are just 500 yards on the right, you’ll see our big yellow signs and Big Bull Self Storage logo from the road.
