About Us

Big Bull Self Storage have been in Highbridge on the Isleport Business Park in Somerset since we opened the new site in July 2022. It took a long time to get to opening, with several delays at the planning stage, however now we are open and progressing nicely, filling up the self storage units quite quickly. We have already had our second batch of units delivered and our third batch are at the planning stage right now, with the structural foundations being laid this week.

Here at Big Bull Self Storage, we pride ourselves on being a local company, serving Highbridge, Burnham-on-Sea and the local area. Not only do we try to ‘shop local’ as much as we can, but we are also proud to say, that even all the on-site workers are from Burnham and Highbridge. Our plumber, builders, electricians, handy man, all ground work staff and Operations Manager are from Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge. The plumber’s merchants and plant hire company we use are both from Highbridge and the stone and all ground works came from a local quarry within Somerset. We even made sure to have all our signage and leaflets manufactured by a local company, opting to use one about 500 yards down the road. We believe that having a local workforce really makes a huge difference to the business, while supporting the local area and of course helping to do our part in keeping transport and emissions to a minimum. We are planning on trying to further offset our carbon footprint by planting several trees in the next few months. It is recommended to plant trees when they're dormant and so less likely to get damaged, so tree planting season usually runs between November and March, we are planning to get these planted in the new year. We will keep you updated when we have more plans – and photos.

Our self storage site is located on one of the last sites on the Isleport Estate to be put to economical use, having originally been for agricultural land but most recently left as a waste land. The site now provides a multitude of uses ranging from home owners moving house to businesses as we have a variety of sizes available, meaning we have the size of self storage you’re looking for. If you’re needing a bit more space while redecorating, having a refurbishment, or moving house and need to store the full contents of your home, then we can help you decide on what size you need. We have 25sqft self storage units available, which are roughly the size of a garden shed, or if you’ll need a full 160sqft which would store the contents of a 4 bed house. We also have plenty of sizes in between so we are sure we can find the right size self storage unit for you. If you are self employed and need somewhere to store your tools and materials, then we have just what you need. We know that some self storage sites have ‘opening times’, but you won't find that here, as we offer 24 hour access to the site so you won’t need to rush that job to get back here before closing and you'll be able to access the site over weekends and Bank Holidays. You’ll find our fully illuminated site a huge bonus with the 24hour access, meaning that you can come over to your unit at 3am should you need to, knowing that you’ll have full visibility at all times, day or night. We have your security at the forefront of our mind, we don’t just put a camera on the gate, there are multiple cameras across the whole site, which is monitored 24 hours a day, which is a great reassurance for you, knowing your self storage is safe with us.

How do I find you?
Directions from Burnham on Sea, Highbridge and the Motorway.
- From Burnham on Sea
If you're coming from Burnham on Sea via Edithmead, then turn right at the Motorway round about, towards Highbridge, on to Bristol Road (A38), take the second left at the next round about on to Bennett Road, Isleport Business Park. Drive past Aldi and Costa on your left, and you'll find us on the right hand side, on the corner of Bolton Road, next to the burger van, you'll see our bright yellow signage and the Big Bull Self Storage Logo from the road. Pop in to the reception office and see us here.
- From Highbridge via Burnham Road
If you're coming from Highbridge, or Burnham on Sea via the Burnham Road, then drive towards the Asda round about (Asda will be in front of you), turn left here, go over the bridge, past Highbridge caravans. Come to the round about and take the this exit to go past Aldi and Costa on your left, and you'll find us on the right hand side, on the corner of Bolton Road, next to the burger van, you'll see our bright yellow signage and the Big Bull Self Storage Logo from the road. - From the Motorway
If you're coming from the motorway, take the exit for Junction 22, signposted Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham on Sea, Bristol (South) Airport. Take the first exit on to Bristol Road (A38) towards Highbridge. Take the second left at the next round about on to Bennett Road, Isleport Business Park. Drive past Aldi and Costa on your left, and you'll find us on the right hand side, on the corner of Bolton Road, next to the burger van, you'll see our bright yellow signage and the Big Bull Self Storage Logo from the road.
